Gastron

A macro closeup of my pet apple snail. He's fully grown at about 2 inches long and is he ever fascinating to watch as a result, especially with his methods of eating and getting around as an aquatic snail. He's chowing down on an algae pellet for breakfast. (No, he doesn't live in a bare tank. I put him in it for taking the picture and put him back in his usual tank after he'd eaten and pooped. Always pooped. Freakin' snails and their body waste.)
